Men's Group
Every Tuesday at 8 am, the men of Saint Ann’s gather in the Parish Hall (or occasionally venture out to the California Diner for a change of pace) to enjoy coffee, bagels, and each other’s company. All men of the parish are warmly invited to join us — no RSVP required, just bring yourself and a good appetite for conversation.
What’s a typical Men’s Group meeting like?
As one member put it: “We shoot the breeze.” Topics range from classic cars and local history to civic happenings and whatever else is on our minds. We share stories, offer advice, lend a listening ear, and sometimes, a shoulder to lean on. Whether it’s a cranky knee, a broken lawnmower, or the grief of losing a loved one, this group is here to support each other — with wisdom, wit, and warmth.
We come without an agenda, and by 9:30, we’ve (mostly) solved the world’s problems — until next Tuesday, of course.
Looking Back
2024 brought new faces and milestone celebrations, including Chairman Joe Garofolo’s 95th birthday bash (yes, at the California Diner!) and a special speakerphone chat with our senior member, Ray Graunke, on his 95th birthday from Maine.
