The Youth Group at St. Ann's is one of our most vibrant ministries. Our young people are dedicated members of the church, who have a ministry all their own. They have leadership roles in selling our Christmas Trees every year at the annual sale. They serve food at our annual meeting and our Shrove Tuesday Pancake Supper. They can be found making ornaments for our Christmas Fair in November, and taking much needed food, clothing, and other supplies to the homeless in New York City.
While service is a large part of what our Youth Group does, the most important thing about Youth Group is that it provides a place for our young people to be themselves. St. Ann's provides a safe space for our youth to grow into the people God is calling them to be, and to ask the difficulty questions along the way. There is a tight bond of community in our Youth Group. We go out to dinner together, we have barbecues, and we have a lot of fun.
St. Anns' Youth Group meets every Wednesday at 7:00 p.m. at the Littlejohn building. Pizza is provided.
