Community Outreach

The Sharks vs the it's not a sporting event. Join us at Creative Ministries on August 14th to see "West Side Story". Tickets will be $30 which includes refreshments and cabaret seating. Please sign up in the Parish Hall if you plan on attending. See Jackie Gandolfo for questions and/or ticket payment. Thanks!!

Ramp Update: The ramp construction is really moving along. I guess our prayers for good weather have helped the workers to just keep on going! If you take a peek you can see that some of the new drains have already been installed along the church foundation. And not to worry, new plantings will be put in and landscaped to beautify the outside of St. Ann's once again. Did anyone notice how big the time capsule really is? Are you wondering what or who is inside there? A new location for it will be in the proximity of the flagpoles closer to Middle Road.

As summer is upon us and our activity lists grow, don't forget our services

Saturdays Taize Service at 5:00 PM
Sundays at 8:00 and 10:00 AM
Why not come and give thanks and praise to God for all that summer brings such as warm breezes, flowers, beaches and barbeques.

Air Conditioning: During the summer months, it is inevitable that some people will be comfortable in the air conditioning and some people will be chilled; and that can be frustrating to all concerned. However, during the summer months we must keep the air conditioning at a certain temperature in order to protect the pipes in our beautiful pipe organ. Organ pipes are very sensitive and they must be maintained at a certain temperature to ensure they work properly; thereby avoiding costly repairs. Your clergy, and lay servers, who are wearing layers of vestments, also appreciate the cooler temperatures. So, for the coming summer months, if you feel chilled in the church, please bring a light sweater to ensure your personal comfort. Refraining from covering the air conditioning vents in the pews is also appreciated, as it compromises the air conditioning system itself.

Coffee Hour: Who enjoys coffee and cake? We need some volunteers for coffee hour. All it includes is supplying cake or cookies between services and clean up after
the 10:00 AM service.
Please sign up for a date!

New Members:  If you are new to St. Ann's, we want to make sure you are getting our communications. Please fill out the newcomers card in your pew and place it in the collection plate and we will add you to our database for future communications.

Blood Drive: FYI halfway to our 3rd annual Blood Drive. Mark your calendars for January 18th, 2017 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Together we can save many lives!!

Food Pantry
Our food pantry guests have increased over the last month. We are in need of milk, juice, canned fruit, canned chicken, frozen veggies, fruit and pasta sauce. Thank you for your continued support.

We are in need of volunteers to help with the Historical Society. If we are going to maintain the history room and the history of the church, we need your help. If you can volunteer any time, please call Connie Currie or leave a message at the office. Thank you.
