Let the children come to me;
do not hinder them,
for to such belongs the kingdom of God.
—Matthew 19:14
Children's Christian EducationOn the first Sunday of every month, the 10am service will be the Family Worship Service where we will all worship together in the main sanctuary. This service will be family-friendly and engaging for young and old alike.
On the subsequent Sundays of the month, Sunday School will take place during the first portion of the 10am services during Liturgy of the Word (that is: the readings, sermon, and Prayers of the People).
Lessons are taught by a combination of clergy and participating parent/adults. We ask for at least one adult from every participating family to help support Sunday School either as an assistant or lead teacher when needed. This person can be a parent, grandparent, aunt, uncle, etc. If the idea of assisting or even leading a Sunday School lesson feels daunting, be not afraid--we will be there to support you. All educational materials are provided by St. Ann's Episcopal Church.
